Meet Principal Moffett

  • Daryle Moffett is in his first year as principal of Crowley High School after serving as the principal of North Crowley's Ninth Grade Campus for the past three years. He has worked in the district since 2004 with previous assignments as principal at Crowley Middle School and Sue Crouch Intermediate School and as assistant principal at North Crowley High School and Parkway Elementary School.

He has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Texas Southern University and a Master of Education from Texas State University.

Why did you choose education as a career?
At an early age I enjoyed working with young people. I began working with elementary students as a high school student enrolled in a Child Development class at Western Hills High School. Since the first day I walked in the classroom at M.L. Phillips Elementary, I knew I would be a teacher in some capacity.

    Why is education important?
I believe education is a game changer. The field of education has allowed me the opportunity to shape and mold the lives of young people. I truly enjoy running into students that I've had the privilege to serve and hearing how they have grown as a result of the quality education they received while in my care.

What is your hope for your campus?
My hope is that we teach and students learn the academic and life lessons needed to walk across the graduation platform prepared for the future.

    Tell us more about you.
I enjoy hanging out with family and watching Dallas Cowboy football. Go Cowboys!
