Mariann Middleton, M.Ed.
Deputy Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction
Middleton joined Crowley ISD in October 2017. She was previously associate superintendent of curriculum and instruction in Lancaster ISD where she has worked since 2010. She previously worked as an executive director of curriculum and instruction in Marshall ISD and has been a high school associate principal in Tyler ISD. She began her career in public education as an elementary teacher and has also worked as secondary school counselor.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in School Counseling from the University of Texas, Tyler. Middleton is currently working to complete her level three certification as a curriculum management auditor with the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA).
As deputy superintendent of curriculum and instruction in Crowley ISD, Middleton will oversee curriculum and instruction, special services, assessment and accountability and professional development.
