Family Access Center FAQ's
Q: The log-in I was provided doesn't work.
A: The username and password are case sensitive; also make sure you are logging in from the Family Access Center. (The log-ins featured at the top left of the CISD pages are for personnel.)
Q: When I log in, I don't see all of my children.
A: Log in to your account, if you only see one child click HERE to get your accounts combined. You will have to provide each child's student ID and birth date. The requests are not automated, please allow 2 to 3 business days for a response.
Q: I submitted a request (for my username and password OR to get my accounts combined) and I didn't get a response.
A: If it's been 2 or 3 business days, please check your spam folder. If the response is not in the spam folder please contact your student's home campus.
Q: How do I update my information?
A: You can update your e-mail from the Family Access Center. Please visit your registrar to update name, guardianship, phone number & address information.
Q: Can I get a shorter password?
A: You can reset your password. The first time you log in, click on your child's name and select "My Profile" from the menu on the left side.
Q: Why do some classes have assignments/grades and others do not?
A: No two courses are alike. The volume of assignments or tests and the speed at which they are corrected will vary from course to course and teacher to teacher.
Q: What should I do if an assignment is listed as missing?
A: Discuss the missing assignment with your child. It may take a few days for the teacher to record the mark; have your child ask the teacher about the status of the assignment. If these steps do not resolve your concern, contact the teacher directly.
