Gas Leak at Oakmont Elementary
A minor gas leak on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Oakmont Elementary School forced the building to be evacuated for approximately 20 minutes. All students and staff were safe while crews worked to locate the gas leak and shut it off. Air quality levels have been confirmed safe by the Fort Worth Fire Department and everyone has returned back inside the building.

2015 Accountability Ratings
Crowley ISD has exceeded state standards in all four of the key academic indexes in the 2015 State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR). Results released August 7, 2015 by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) show the District and 16 of its 19 tested campuses have been rated at the top level of "Met Standard" and achieved 13 titles of academic "Distinction Designations."
