Thirteen Crowley ISD student-athletes signed their National Letters of Intent to play football, soccer and volleyball at various universities and junior colleges during National Signing Day on Wednesday, Feb. 6. The 13 students join Crowley football signees Mykol Clark and Ronnie Sanders, who inked with Louisiana Tech and New Mexcio State, respectively, in December.Wednesday's National Signing Day is the second period a high school senior can sign a binding Letter of Intent for college football. Although there are numerous signing periods for college sports, football, which also offers a December signing period, is the most followed. A letter of intent is binding for both the player and school for one academic year as long as the player is eligible to enroll at the college.
