- Safe Summer Solutions Summit

Goal: To ensure safe activities are available for Crowley ISD students during the summer.
Objective: To collaboratively determine and implement solutions generated from a series of ideation sessions with students, parents, community leaders, elected officials and mental health providers.
Phases

Phase 1: Identify Needs
Ideation sessions were conducted in October of 2021 via face-to-face and virtual meetings, as well as student podcast forums. Other methods included the following: phone and online surveys with elected officials, community leaders, students, parents and mental health providers.
Conclusion
The students’ top four needs were the following below.
1. Food
2. Mental Health
3. Programs and Events
4. Jobs -
Phase 2: Identify Solutions
Summits were held in Fort Worth and Crowley to identify solutions to students’ top four needs.
