Breakthrough Transfers
Families whose students currently attend Mary Harris, Jackie Carden, J.A. Hargrave, or Sycamore elementary schools may submit a student transfer request if they prefer for their child to attend a traditional school. Transfer requests will follow the district’s standard student transfer process, with a special designated transfer window for families impacted by Breakthrough Schools.
Important details to know:
- Transfer requests are optional and based on family preference.
- Transportation is not provided for approved transfer requests.
- Approval is subject to availability and district guidelines.

- For students currently attending Mary Harris, Jackie Carden or Sycamore:
- Parkway Elementary or Meadowcreek Elementary
- For students currently attending J.A. Hargrave:
- Parkway Elementary or David L. Walker Elementary
