Crowley ISD Shines with 37 State Awards for Excellence in Communications
February 20, 2026

The award-winning Crowley ISD Communications and Marketing Department earned top statewide honors at the 2026 Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA) Conference, including three state championships for excellence in photography, video production and special event communications.

Together, the 37 awards received reflect The Crowley Way: Excellence Every Day and affirm the department’s mission to celebrate the successes of students and staff across the district.

Crowley ISD, which competed as one of the smallest school districts in the 15,000 to 40,000 student population division, took home the following Star Awards:

3 State Champion "Best of Category" Awards

26 Gold Star Awards

6 Silver Star Awards

2 Bronze Star Awards

Independent judges evaluate and score each entry based on its own merit. Gold, Silver and Bronze Stars are awarded based on set criteria. The judges then review their highest scoring Gold Star winners and select a "Best of Category" for a state champion in each division.
