Crowley ISD Earns Financial "A" Rating, Academic "B" Rating, While Advancing Vision 2030 Goals

The district improved student performance at the “Meets Grade Level” standard across all four accountability domains and recorded gains across multiple measures of academic achievement and future readiness.

• "B" Academic Accountability Rating
• 11-point increase in district academic performance over two years
• Improved performance across all four accountability domains
• 96% in College, Career and Military Readiness (CCMR)

Campus Successes

• 15 schools improved in Student Achievement (Domain 1)
• 15 Academic Distinction Designations earned by Crowley ISD campuses
• Increased “Meets Grade Level” performance in almost all tested subjects in grades 5-12

Fiscal Stewardship

• Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) rating of "A" (Superior Achievement)

“These achievements demonstrate what is possible when an entire school district remains focused on a shared vision for student success," said Dr. Michael D. McFarland, superintendent of Crowley ISD. "Our students, teachers, staff and families have worked tirelessly to create a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement. We are proud of the progress reflected in these results and grateful to everyone who has contributed to this momentum."

"These results also show that our systems, strategies and investments are producing meaningful outcomes for students," McFarland said. "The gains we're seeing across grades 5 through 12 demonstrate that when students remain engaged in Crowley ISD, they continue to grow and perform at higher levels. That is encouraging evidence that we're moving in the right direction and creating stronger opportunities for student success."

"Improving elementary school outcomes remains a critical priority because early academic success lays the foundation for everything that follows. Vision 2030 challenges us to continuously improve, and our North Star Goal remains clear: every Crowley ISD school earning an "A" or "B" accountability rating. These results show we're making meaningful progress toward that goal while remaining focused on ensuring every student graduates future-ready."
 

Fiscal Responsibility Drives Student Achievement
In addition to academic growth, Crowley ISD earned an "A" rating under FIRST, the state's financial accountability system. The rating reflects the district's commitment to responsible financial management, transparency and stewardship of taxpayer resources.

"Strong academic outcomes are supported by strong systems," McFarland said. "Earning an "A" financial rating demonstrates our commitment to managing resources strategically so that investments directly support student achievement and long-term success."
