TELPAS

TELPAS (Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System) is a state-required assessment developed by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to measure the English language proficiency of students identified as English Learners (ELs). TELPAS assesses students’ progress in acquiring English language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, based on the Texas English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS).
