Chief of Student Services

Stan Swann supports the administrative needs of Crowley ISD. He ensures that all members of the district receive fair and equitable treatment in matters of concern or complaint. Swann also coordinates the district’s attendance and truancy programs, while managing non-athletics UIL activities and fine arts programs and serving as liaison between Crowley ISD and the regional sector of Communities in School. He also supervises 21st Century afterschool programs and health services. Finally, he plays an integral role in the CISD’s annual second grade Reading Bee as he is an avid participant with “Score a Goal in the Classroom.”

With more than 20 years of education experience, Swann led his first classroom in 1991 at Carver Sixth Grade School in Waco, Texas. He would later serve in teacher roles at Lewisville High School, Carrollton/Farmers Branch ISD and Forest Oak Middle School in Fort Worth ISD. Swann served as the vice principal at Everman Junior High School, before moving to central administration as the Director of Student Services for Everman ISD. He came to Crowley ISD in 2007 as the Chief Human Resources officer and has served in his current role as Chief Administrative Support Office since 2010.

He earned his undergraduate and graduate degree in drama from the University of North Texas in Denton, as well as his certifications to teach secondary theater arts and serve in mid-management in education. Swann collected his superintendent certification in 2007.

Swann is married to his wife Yasuko and they have two sons and a daughter; Joel, Jason and Payton. The family also has a dog named Bandit. In his free time, he enjoys the fine arts, including going to shows and musicals, as well as working hard to bring beauty to his lawn and neighborhood.
