    Offers support, information and resources in an unbiased manner to families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing.

    The program pairs new parents with experienced parents, offering someone to help walk through the new experiences.

    Homepage: Moms Matter
    A Facebook support group of moms of a deaf or hard of hearing child. They meet the second Thursday every other month in Allen at La Madeleine, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

    Free online American Sign Language (ASL) or Signing Exact English (SEE) classes for parents/guardians of deaf and hard of hearing students in Texas. Their goal is to improve family communication.

    Homepage: Statewide Parent Liaisons
    These trained liaisons are parents of deaf children who have experience in Deaf Education. They work to provide information, resources and training to parents with children who are deaf or hard of hearing and coordinate annual family weekend retreats.

    Homepage: The Deaf-Blind Multihandicapped Association of Texas
    Promotes family education and understanding of deaf-blind multihandicapped family member's abilities and disabilities. They offer resource information and referrals to families, professionals, state agencies and provider agencies serving people who are deaf-blind multihandicapped of all ages.
