Student Meal Rates Return In 2022-23 School Year

This Fall, Back To School Will Also Mean Back To Student Meal Rates For Nutritious School Meals

Apply Today: Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application

This Fall, ‘Back to School’ will also mean ‘Back to Student Meal Rates’ for nutritious school meals.

Per USDA requirements, income eligibility requirements will resume in the 2022-23 school year. As such, Crowley ISD must return to charging for school meals and will offer free and reduced-priced meals based on student eligibility. The Crowley ISD Child Nutrition Department will begin processing Free and Reduced household applications on July 19, 2022.

Please fill out a Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application to see if your child/ren is eligible to receive lunch benefits for the 2022-23 School Year.

What’s Needed:
Only ONE application per household.
• List all children in the household on your ONE application.

School Meal Applications need to be completed every school year in order to receive lunch benefits for the current school year. If you filled out an application last year, your child will maintain their benefits for the FIRST 30 days of  school.

However, if you do not submit a completed 2022-23 School Meal Application by the 30th operating day, your child/ren will lose their previous school year benefits. Please see the flyer below for more information on the many ways that completing a meal application can benefit you, your student and/or the district. Applications can be completed online starting July 19, 2022. Paper applications will also be available at each campus.
