Chromebook and Hotspot Requests

Crowley ISD will provide one Chromebook computer per student for families who need a device for virtual learning. Families must provide their student’s ID number when requesting a device. Devices can be picked up from your child's school library. Please call the campus first to make an appointment.

If you do not have internet access at home, you can request a T-Mobile internet hotspot. Supplies are limited. While the hotspots are provided by T-Mobile, you do not need to be a customer to use it. Services are paid for by Crowley ISD. The Crowley ISD Technology Department will review all requests and contact you with a date, time and pick-up location for internet hotspots.

HOW TO REQUEST A CHROMEBOOK COMPUTER

• Student must be currently enrolled in Crowley ISD for the 2020-2021 school year. Click here if you need to enroll/register your students. If you cannot login to Skyward, you can reset your password on the login page for Skyward. If you can’t recover your password, you need to contact your student’s local campus and the registrar will be able to help you reset the account.

• Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8, you can check out a device for your child from their campus library. Please call the campus first to make an appointment.

• If you previously completed a Device Request Form and selected a specific campus the pick up a device from, you will need to go to that campus.

• Students can pickup Chromebooks by themselves.

• Students will be charged for broken devices.


HOW TO REQUEST AN INTERNET HOTSPOT

• Crowley ISD will provide one internet hotspot per family who need a device for virtual learning.

• Families must provide their student’s ID number when requesting a hotspot.

• Devices will be distributed through the library at your student's campus.

• You will be notified by your email in Skyward when it will be avaliable for pickup.

HOW TO REPAIR/REPLACE A CHROMEBOOK COMPUTER
If your CISD device is in need of repair or replacement please contact your campus and setup a time to go to the Library and swap the device out with a different one. Note if there is physical damage or it is determined the device was broken out of neglect or abuse you might be charged.

If your device is lost or stolen please pay for a new device first at the following website: tiny.cc/chromefees. After you have paid you can contact your campus and setup a time to pickup a new one.
