OnRamps Professional Development Partnership

OnRamps logo

Crowley ISD and UT OnRamps Distance Learning have entered into a unique professional development partnership. Crowley ISD educators will have free and unlimited access to 20 customized professional learning modules designed by OnRamps at The University of Texas at Austin.

This partnership enables Crowley ISD to address critical classroom needs through self-paced professional learning modules on distance learning. These customized modules reflect the evolving needs of teachers to explore concise, curated content on lesson design, teaching, and assessing in a virtual classroom setting.

Applicable to all instructional modalities, each module contains interactive activities and downloadable documents that support direct application to classroom contexts. Additionally, teachers receive CPE credit (including Crowley ISD PD Credit – register in Eduphoria for each module you complete) and additional incentives for completed modules. The modules are divided into “bundles,” which sequentially build skills and knowledge in four key areas:

  • Belonging, Equity, and Connectivity;
  • Authentic Assessment in Online Learning;
  • Learner-Centered Course Creation and Design; and
  • Transforming Learning with Technology Tools.
