The State of Texas is adopting instructional materials for English Language Arts and Reading (ELAR, K-8), Spanish Language Arts and Reading (SLAR, K-5), and Spelling and Handwriting (K-6) this year for implementation during the 2019-2020 school year. Crowley ISD has started a review of proposed materials and invites employees, parents, students, board members, and community members to review the instructional materials and provide feedback.

Publishers will have samples of their materials available for viewing at the Crowley ISD Administration building (512 Peach Street in Crowley) March 25-29. The materials can be reviewed between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Comments regarding the materials may be submitted to Crowley ISD through the use of an online comment form accompanying each publisher’s display.
