Crowley ISD is adjusting the daily start and end times for the 2019-20 school year. These changes will create an extended school day to allow more time for academic instruction, enrichment activities and collaboration between teachers.
• Elementary School (PK-6) - 7:35 a.m.-3:20 p.m. • Middle School (7-8) - 8 a.m.-3:45 p.m. • High School (9-12) - 8:35 a.m.-4:10 p.m.
“We believe these new school hours will have a significant impact on student achievement,” Superintendent Dr. Michael McFarland said. “The decision to extend the school day stems from discussions with principals, staff and our community who are all working together to provide students with excellence in education so that all students achieve their full potential.”
Staff work hours are also being adjusted to support these new school hours and will be communicated by campus principals.
