UIL Announces District Realignment

2020-22 UIL District Alignment

The University Interscholastic League (UIL) announced the 2020-21 and 2021-22 tentative football, basketball and volleyball district assignments on Monday, Feb. 3. 

The remaining athletic district alignments will be released no later than March 16, 2020, with the academic alignments to follow. Schools may now discuss scheduling possible games but cannot commit until Feb. 26. District schedules cannot be finalized and official until the appeals process is complete and alignment is finished on Feb. 26.

The Crowley High School football program will compete in Class 5A Region 1-District 3 against familiar foes Azle, Arlington Heights, Brewer, Granbury and Saginaw and welcome Abilene Cooper and Saginaw to their district schedule. On the volleyball and basketball courts, the Eagles will represent Class 5A Region 1-District 8, and will face-off against Arlington Seguin, Burleson, Burleson Centennial, Everman, as well as Mansfield’s Legacy, Summit and Timberview high schools.

North Crowley High School moved to Class 6A Region 1-District 3 in football, volleyball and basketball. The Panthers will share the district with Euless Trinity, Boswell, Paschal, Chisholm Trail, Haltom, L.D. Bell and Weatherford.
