Apply for Global Prep Academy!

What is Global Prep Academy?
Global Prep Academy (GPA) serves 7-12 grade students as a CISD school of choice. The program blends the flexibility of online virtual learning with real-life peer-to-peer and student-to-teacher interaction. GPA classes are taken online through Connections Academy where each course is taught by a specific content teacher.

Students physically complete their coursework in a relaxed classroom setting where they have direct access to a classroom teacher, learning coaches and their peers. With the academy located inside the B.R. Johnson Career and Tech Center, high school students are able to have the option of a blended schedule that can include dual credit courses, career and technical education and extracurricular activities. The content is rigorous, but engaging, and helps prepare students well for the structure of college learning.
