I have learned a lot here at Jackie Carden. Seeing the kids and how much they grow over time makes me feel proud and happy. Working here is fun. Our curriculum is foundational. We teach the kids skills in a sequential order to ensure they are learning concepts in depth.

School Quality Reports

The School Quality Reports are designed to share each school's progress, opportunities and overall quality in Crowley ISD. As a district, these metrics are crucial. A collection of parents, students, staff and community members determined the metrics based on what matters most to them. Our goal is to increase transparency by combining quantitative metrics with qualitative feedback from parents. This comprehensive approach to assessment provides a complete and transparent view of school quality relying on metrics that matter most.

Public Education Grant

Jackie Carden Elementary School has been identified as a Public Education Grant-designated campus for the 2025-2026 school year, based on 2023 ratings. The PEG program permits parents of children assigned to attend schools that meet certain criteria to request a transfer for their children to other schools or other districts.

As a result, you can request to have your student attend another campus for the 2025-2026 school year by applying for a PEG transfer.

District transportation is not provided to the new campus.

To apply for a PEG transfer, parents should complete and submit the PEG Transfer Application linked below before September 23, 2025.

Additionally, students at PEG campuses are eligible to apply to schools outside of Crowley ISD. If you wish to apply for transfer to another district, you must contact the central administrative offices of that school district for information.
