    What is a Montessori education?
The Montessori approach to early childhood education introduces a joyful, secure and loving environment in which your young child will thrive. As soon as you enter a classroom, you will notice something is different. You will see children of different ages working independently and in groups, often with specially designed learning materials. The early childhood model encourages preschoolers to:
       • Explore and discover
       • Show grace, courtesy and respect
       • Take ownership of their education

While fostering social-emotional and intellectual growth, it encourages self-directed learning that promotes:
       • Self-confidence
       • Independent thought and action
       • Critical thinking
       • Conflict resolution and peace
