Bill R. Johnson CTE Center
The STEM Plus vision in Crowley ISD is community empowerment through awareness, exploration and engagement to prepare all learners for future global opportunities. At the Bill R. Johnson CTE Center, we offer 27 programs of study and numerous certifications. In order for students to truly know where their passion lies, Crowley ISD values the idea that the district must provide diverse opportunities to ensure they are choosing a pathway that clearly aligns to the future goals.
In STEM Plus, pre-kindergarten through fifth grade students will become aware (PK-2) and engage in experiences in the latter grades (3-5) that align to the programs of study offered at the CTE Center. The Texas Education Agency expects that sixth through twelfth grade students are exploring careers and experiencing them first hand. At the four middle schools, students will be able to select electives that peak their interests that will lead them into a pathway in high school.
