Making Connections is a disability resource fair for all ages. Families have an opportunity to meet with organizations that provide services for people with disabilities.
Breakout session one will discuss information to help parents and youth develop supportive bonds during the physical and emotional changes brought on by puberty, and techniques to promote sexuality health, safety, proper hygiene and preventative care. Breakout session two will discuss information about the HCS, TxHmL, and CLASS waiver lists. Participants will learn what they are, how to get on them, and why you do not wait to get on the list!
