Board Selects Superintendent Search Firm

  • (May 3, 2017) The Crowley ISD Board of Trustees has selected the executive search firm of Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates (HYA) to lead the district’s search for a permanent superintendent of schools. The Board of Trustees reviewed proposals and interviewed four executive search firms during a meeting on May 2, 2017 before choosing to award the contract to HYA.

“Our School Board is committed to finding the best superintendent to lead the students and staff of our great school district,” Board President June W. Davis said. “The team at HYA has a proven track record of success in recruiting highly qualified superintendents for school districts nationwide and we look forward to working with them and all CISD stakeholders throughout this important process.”

HYA has previously led superintendent searches for 20 Texas school districts, including Northwest ISD, Houston ISD and Round Rock ISD.

The work plan presented to the Board of Trustees by HYA describes a detailed search process, including stakeholder surveys and community meetings that will be announced at a later date.
